These terms cover signing up for CallJake's student early-access list or expressing interest in becoming a helper. We're recruiting for a USC pilot. Joining a list does not create a paid account, book a call, or guarantee access or a helper role.

Who can sign up

Students must be at least 13. If you're 13–17, provide a parent or guardian's email and involve them in setting up an account before your first call. Do not use an older age group to bypass this requirement. People under 13 may not sign up.

Helper recruiting for this pilot is for current USC undergraduate students who are 18 or older. We will confirm current enrollment during onboarding. Use your own contact information and give accurate answers. Other schools are coming soon; joining their demand list does not mean helpers are available there.

[LAWYER] Confirm how a parent or guardian gives permission and accepts any future paid-service agreement. A parent email alone is not verified permission.

What happens after sign-up

We may contact you about launch plans or helper onboarding using the contact details and choices you provide. Plans, timing, and availability can change. You can leave the list at any time. This sign-up does not charge you anything. Before offering paid calls or paid helper work, we will provide the applicable price or compensation information and a separate agreement.

CallJake is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by USC or any other university. Helpers do not speak for admissions offices.

Text messages

Student launch texts are optional and require selecting the SMS checkbox. If you opt in to helper-program texts, we will send messages about becoming a helper, up to 4 a month. Message and data rates may apply. Use a number you control and have permission to use.

Reply STOP to stop texts, or contact us to withdraw consent or get help with messages. You can ask to stop email updates too. Consent to promotional texts is not a condition of buying a service. Opting out of messages and asking to delete your sign-up are separate choices.

[LAWYER] Before sending recruiting texts, replace the current /earn button-tap consent with an explicit opt-in checkbox, support interest without marketing consent, and confirm the sender and opt-out process.

Coach, never ghostwrite

Future helpers can explain their own experiences, ask useful questions, offer feedback, and help an applicant think through essays and supplements. The applicant must write their own application. Helpers must not write or submit it for them, invent achievements, impersonate an applicant, or claim insider influence over admission. Everyone must follow the application rules of the schools involved.

Do not use CallJake to harass anyone, misrepresent your identity or enrollment, scrape sign-up data, or share another person's private information. Keep conversations appropriate for applicants who may be minors. Session conduct and safeguarding requirements will be provided before calls begin.

No admission guarantees

Feedback is a helper's perspective, not an admissions decision or official university advice. We do not promise admission, scholarships, better outcomes, or any particular result. Applicants remain responsible for their work, deadlines, and school-specific instructions.

Helper interest is not employment

Joining the helper list or completing an application does not make you an employee or authorize you to work for CallJake. It does not guarantee hiring, calls, hours, or earnings. Enrollment verification, eligibility review, and any necessary screening must happen before approval. Signing up does not itself initiate a background check.

[LAWYER] Helpers are not employees unless and until hired. Determine the lawful worker classification, work authorization, compensation, screening disclosures, and required agreements before anyone starts work. This draft does not classify helpers as independent contractors.

Privacy and leaving the list

Our Privacy Policy explains the data we collect, parent contact, referral information, messaging choices, and deletion. We do not sell your personal information. You can request deletion; unconverted waitlist records are deleted 12 months after original sign-up.

Updates and contact

We will date changes on this page. These waitlist terms do not authorize a future paid service or materially different use of your information; we will explain those changes before you participate.
